More pics!

Pic7 is the elongation of the holes that were supposed to be a press fit on the planetary assembly.

Pic5 and Pic6 are whats left of my center viscous couple. Notice the slight crack along the weld on the side. Pic6 shows some more elongation on the VC. Those are supposed to be round...

Ok... you launched the car in reverse... from what rpm? Actually, I don't give a damn... Why would you do something that stupid? If you wanted to go fast in that direction, turn the car around!

HAHA. I have to laugh at myself for this and thought i would get some shit from you guys. I say lauch... I was backing out of my driveway and its up hill while waiting for a friend to back out. I dropped the clutch at like 4000K RPM to fuck around and show off a bit. I will say it did chirp a bit, but was followed by a loud clunk, pop, bang... you get the point

good god! I kinda wonder though... why would it make a difference being in reverse? I know the gear ratio is higher, but everything should transfer load the same way, since it's all radially symmetric. not that I plan on doing anything nearly that dumb, but I still wonder.
