Good idea if you are getting a downpipe and a catback. Also if your emissions are flexible in your state.

Overall it will free up the exhaust from the restrictive stock cat thats there.

Pros: Little more power in the upper end, Slightly faster spool.
Cons: Makes car louder, Makes it no longer "legal" for emissions.

Great idea if you don't need your catalytic converter. Great idea also to replace it with a downpipe that eliminates your front precat and main cat.
