questions on injectors and tuning

Okay so the 560cc evos are no good on the stock ecu, as far as I've read, so what 550s are good on our cars, I'm going to run pump gas with meth inject, 13ts with a maf translator blow thru and safc for tuning. I have a supra pump installed, no fpr, not having issues with it yet, ill get on eventually though. So what suggestions do you have on the injectors and my tuning, what 550s are good and idle smooth in our cars, and should I abandon the safc and just run a blow thru and emanage blue setup. I want to keep it simple to start with this setup. Thanks alot

Where did you read evo's were no good? Thats probably one of the more looked for injectors as their legacy's are known (not that you need to know for your maft/safc). Keep with what you have and go from there.

the evo injectors are perfect for the flash ecu, but very hard to get to idle stoic consistently on a stock tune with a piggyback.

I read that they flow close to 600cc and the latency is different then ours. I want the evos, but is pte a better choice, and what's easier to tune with?

the pte, denso, rc, pretty much any 550 is easy to tune. In reality most of them flow 525, so keep that in mind when setting a base correction.

Eventually I'm going to go emanage blue, but I don't know very much about it yet so I'm not going to at this point. So what's the main differences between emanage and safc/translator, where the translator does injectors and then the saf is to do the fine tuning

the emanage blue is a nice unit in that you have a large map to work with, but really not a huge advantage over the safc. The ultimate has a ton of features that you may or may not need.

The blue does have some timing control, but it can only retard timing IIRC.

So my setup is just the same without timing control? Is timing highly important to tuning?
