Default Question regarding a 'good tune'

Prior to getting my car tuned on dyno, i'm trying to make sure it is running well and tuned decently. I understand 11.5 is good to shoot for but i'm not sure how the wide band should behave.

If tuned well, at WOT, should it drop instantly to 11.5 be rock solid at that value or will it take a few seconds and bounce around a bit around 11.5, or something else?

The setup i'm using is 15gs@14psi s/580cc injectors/NEO afc/supporting mods. I have meth injection to install though so i'll probably be running that and raising boost to 18psi before i try to tune it any more.

My thread is the worst thread ever

I'm sure someone has to have their car tuned well and has a wide band 02. I'm just looking for a "my afr does this when i floor it" type of thing.

I know this thread is not exciting as Nick Hogan but if you wish you can pretend that 4 naked women are somehow involved and trying to get comforable in the back seat. That would make it much more interesting in my book at least.

Yeah, I'm here for the 4 naked women?

Crap. Duped again. Man, I'm so easy.

AFR's are relatively dynamic; it's difficult to answer your question with just a number or a range. EGT's, knock counts, timing and other variables will help determine if you're at the right AFR for your car, at any point in the RPM band. Your AFR is just one value of several that you want to be looking at when tuning.

What're you doing for datalogging, to start?

I've got the hand held halo setup for logging. My car runs fine in closed loop and from the few pulls I think I have it tuned ok as it doesn't go off scale rich anymore. I'm just wishing I would have put the wideband on before the upgrades so I had something to go by. I don't want to put it on a dyno to find out something is not working right and add hours of troublshooting.
