Re: Question about the o-ring on the rear turbo IC pipe
I had a hell of a time with the O-Ring on my rear turbo DN hardpipe. I tried all the tricks, and nothing worked. I ended up using a dremel to shave down the inside of the O-Ring just enough so it would fit tightly into the rear turbo housing. Then, I put an O-Ring down into the turbo housing itself, so the hardpipe would crush onto it when tightened down. No leaks. Also, to keep the O-ring pliable under the extremely high temperatures generated by the turbo, you should use synthetic grease, i.e., the silicone stuff that they put on brakes.
Hope that helps.
