So today I did a seafoam treatment on my engine through the brake booster hose. After letting the car run I noticed that seafoam fumes (the white smoke) was coming from a spring looking thing on the rear side of the engine above the turbo.
Is this a common place for leaks and if so how do I fix it?
You will have a cleaner plenum in the long run vs. keeping it and only fresh air will go into the engine instead of exhaust fumes added to the mix. I got mine off of ebay though for $15 shipped, same thing except without the logo.
+2, There's people on the forum for 18 dollars shipped, I like supporting anyone that's around here
