Last summer when you installed my Supra FP, I installed the MSD wires one week before. That was 10,000 miles ago (that HURTS). I installed the LS6 MAS/MAF-T and hotwired the FP Erik Gross style with Matt Saskin since the turbos. I've also went to the track once with the LS6 MAS and once with the LS6 MAS/MAF-T/FP combo.

If it is a massive air leak, then I don't understand why the car started RIGHT up after sitting over night for a couple of minutes, the CEL come on and me clearing it bringing it back to normal (02s cycling too), and then 2 minutes later the CEL comes on and back to the original problem with the 02s NOT cycling.

DO a pressure test. Do you have a coil pack to swap from a working buddie's car? How about a working ECU from another car also. It's time to start doing the process of elimination. And after doing a pressure test if that turns out ok you need to start swapping out components to see if one is bad.

Bad IAC Stepper motor can make it go haywire also. What are youe ICS steps on the logger? THey should start high cold then settle to under 20 and in the teens when fully warm, unless you click on the AC or turn the wheels all teh way wich trips the PS up idle switch.

Hm. There's not many 3/S TTs in the area. There's 92VR4NY which I won't touch (no offense Mike) and Anubis's 92 RT/TT. Oh, AllEyezOnMyVR-4 (Frank) but his car is gone for weeks while being painted. Does it matter what year? Same for ECU?

ICS? I don't have that option on my OBDII datalogger I don't think.

I'm not one bit surprised about this -- all of your basic correction is done in the Translator -- you would need to swap in the stock MAS AND correct with the S-AFC for the basic injector correction (about -34% across the board).

I went back to my old fuel maps when I did this. -36 across the boards with my LOW fuel settings when just using the 550CC/Stock MAF. With that said, I still had the shitty AF settings of .06 and .12 (REALLY lean)

I figured you would have mentioned doing that part -- oops!

Could be a fuel pump problem. You don't have a pressure gage I take it...

Nope. I got my hands on a voltmeter. My Supra buddy told me it MIGHT be the Supra FP which had 70K (supposedly) and I got 10K on it. I recently did the Erik Gross rewire but driven it a month or so including the track and datalogged it plenty since.

Is checking that at the FP a difficult job?

You really need a fuel pressure gauge in the cockpit if you want to confirm the pump and system is acting as it should.

Nope not at all ... you just yank the inspection panel and splice into the voltage ... or even easier check the voltage out of the gross re-wire (it will be maybe .5 volts less at the pump ... anything over 10 volts will make enough pressure for the car to idle well though).

Oh ... did you check your alternator output voltage? Make sure its over 13.

Thumbs up Re: p0300 CE code

Good news!

I started the car and it ran NICE. The 02s were cycling and the CEL was cleared and stayed away. After 2 minutes, the car went back to running on 4 cylinders (I know it's 4 now) and the CEL P0300 came back. I started to pull plugs off the coil pack.

The first 4 showed a NICE spark that went right to the valve cover including my hand. The engine showed signs of loss of cylinder and spark was definately visible. The last 2 on the same coil pack towards the BOTTOM resulted in NO visible spark and no change in engine noise.

It seems my car is running on 4 cylinders. I am going to swap in another coil pack. Do all TT and NA use the same coil pack? Anyone got any other ideas?

Looks like I am on the right track. Thanks to everyone.
