Default Oil Pressure

Can anyone tell me where the needle for the oil pressure should be sitting at when the motor is warmed up at at an idle

Mine was at two little ticks up (3 now, not sure why), I've heard of one tick up and no issues.

Like VRoom4 said, anywhere but the bottom is generally acceptable. The stock gauge is horrifically inaccurate, so it's hard to judge.

I have a '92 stealth and my oil pressure gauge is above half 90% of the time. Is that to high?

The gauge is probably off too high, or you're using a thicker oil, or you have a mechanical issue.

I'd put money on the gauge though.

Hmm, one of my TT's sits 1-2 ticks, another TT sat 2 ticks, I've switched to 20W-50 oil and it sat right at the larger tick, or slightly above, it's been about a month or two now and it went back down to 2 tick. I think it's safe to say the stock gauge cannot be trusted at all.
