The car should not die from a broken v-belt as all the v-belts does is control the power steering pump.

Oh I c, hm. Well I was driving 2day and the car started actn all krazy as hell lol. I just went WOOT and next thing I know power steering is gone and the car just dies. So I pull over 2 the side and look under the hood and look at everything and I noticed the belt was completely messed up, like torn 2 shreds. But I could not start the car just makes a rawrrrrr noise. So I ended up gettn it towd back home, what could this be of? Its weird that 2 things break at once : (

Sounds like you might have a timing belt problem man,,, check your timing marks, and your timing belt and see whats going on there

ive heard of v-belts shredding apart and taking out the t-belt. take your plastic covers off and see if any of it got in there,or if it knocked off your timing.
