My Single turbo and engine ran great in old shell , since i swapped this engine/setup into 94 shell , its been missing at 2600 rpm and gos lean 16:1 17:1 . only changes were done was evo 560cc to PTE 680cc and new coil pack . i kept stock Resistor pack what was on my 94 shell , so first thing was i swaped resistor packs from old 96 shell. Guess what ???? it fixed the problem
I changed my whole setup: piping, turbos, injectors, cams & cam gears, shortblock and intercooler and it seemed to fix the problem. I think it's most likely related to some sort of airflow turbulence issue that occurred with my old setup.
well thats one way to take care of it lol...its good to see you didnt give up on the car, i can imagine after so much time being down it would have been very tempting.
im hoping i have an intake leak, so im trying to trace that down
Not a Intake leak ! I gave up and took the car off the road today because I could not Dela with bad hesitations and misfires when i was crusing from 2200 to 2800 rpms
Damn that sucks man. I stripped some threads out in my lower plenum, prolly from taking the intake on and off so much changing plugs and gaskets, so mine has been down for like a month. I hope to get the plenum in this week and decided to go ahead and do the egr delete. I hope to be able to do more troubleshooting soon.
