We'd really appreciate some help here, it's quite a big engine projekt and everything has gone really smooth. Except for the AEM installation, apart from the EMS the engine's ready.
We've tried allmost everything to get the AEM to work and the idees are running out. No one in sweden (yes, we're swedes) have any pre knowledge about tuning the GTO. You're our last hope sorta, so if you know anyone somewhere or anything, please help. The most of this setup comes from 3sx and they've been helpful but have no exp in tuning the GTO. |

The main difference between the 2 cars is the 3000GT has 2 lambda sensors the GTO only has one.
Apart from that the pinouts and the ECU's are almost identical, we have swapped JDM ECU's into 3000GT's and visa versa. I would suspect it is some other issue you are having if an AEM won't work in it. Russ |

Well that's what we thought too. But.. The engine won't start with the AEM installed. We've tried replacing every hardware part for other new parts in the AEM system - no difference. We've tried different software versions, no diff. All cables are live, not dead through the aem.
Here's the tricky part, if we disconnect the AEM and reinstall the original ECU the engine starts without any trouble (except it doesn't like the 720cc's)? Install the aem again, nothing. Any ideas, if it is something else, what could it be? |
