How to Convert Reg Pre turbo intakes into "Dejon" intakes
anyone have a write up on how to turn reg intake pipes into dejon like air intakes. since pre-turbo pipes stop in "bubble" i was thinking about buying 2 2" diameter pipes on ebay on 90 degree angle and cutting to custom fit...LMK what u guys think

When I had a blow through setup on my car I just mounted filters directly to the turbos. Is was more efficient than the stock setup. On the same boost controller setting I had 5psi more boost.

This would also clear up some space in the engine bay also.

I run a k&n on each turbo with Emanage Ultimate Mafless setup. Battery in boot and rear washer set up for front windscreen leaves loads of room and makes the car a pleasure to work on!.
The air into the turbos will be slightly hotter but spool up is better and less restriction before the turbo makes up for it..

I have my dejon pipes off at the moment for some paint. Engine bay sure does look great. Took it for a spin.. but I feel like the car is slower with them off *shrug*. Sounds a bit cooler, but seat of pants feels down slightly.
Running 15g's and speed density on EMU.
I don't know if you would really gain much by just converting the stock pipes to having two filters. My guess is it wouldn't be much different than gutted MAF (for a speed density car)

I think you'll have to be in the high 20's boost to notice any real restriction in the pipes, I run 30 psi now and wasn't able to with the stock intake, dejons may be different though..
