TWIN-TURBO--->
|
Hey guys, I just finished installing my front 13g turbo and when I took it for a spin the car was shooting white smoke everywhere, almost like seafoam. What did I miss?

TWIN-TURBO--->

Apparently it was rebuilt by a member of this forum. When I first started the car there was some white smoke under the heat shields. This went away after a few minutes of idle, but if I hold 2500 rpm in neutral the exhaust shoots out white smoke.

I had really bad white smoke after my tt swap and it ended up being a leaky cap in my ecu and it was keeping injector 4 wide open... dont know if thats your problem since it happened right as you swapped turbos but just a suggestion. if you have a datalogger you can check.

That wouldn't make it smoke, just maybe leak exhaust. From the info you provided it almost has to be a blown seal in the turbo. Pull the line off the compressor housing and check for oil. Another thing to check is to remove the down pipe and look under the car and see if the smoke comes from the dump pipe of the turbo you just changed.
