Unhappy gone turbos???

i have a 93 vr4, the car can only run 4-5 psi. if i am correct these cars are supposed to run 9 psi stock, right... well i bought a MBC and tried to raise the boost and nothing hapened the car still only boosted 4-5 psi. i ve also tried to look for leaks but couldnt find any.. so im out of ideas on towhatswrong with my car.... maybe the turbos want to retire on me.........JK

Run a boost leak test. There is alot of piping on these cars so it's tough to find leaks visually.

you also need an aftermarket gauge to accurately see boost

yeah i have an aftermarket gauge and thats what it read. ive also tried to do a compression test and found a small leak but fixed it but it still wont go past 5psi. is there a specific place where i should look for leaks?

Maybe a long shot, but check to make sure the wastegate arms are still attached to the wastegate. Sometimes the pins will get old and rust or fall out as these cars get older.
