Default FMIC. Will these pipes work?

FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER PIPE PIPING GTO 300ZX TURBO 2.5 on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 06-Jul-08 22:24:36 BST)

Or will they need a lot of work?? I read up you need a Y pipe for fitment too, is this true?

Also could I install a FMIC and leave the crash bar in?

No, you do not need a Y pipe. You don't need one if:

You're running a single turbo setup
You're using a dual in-single out core
Or if you plan on doing a dual core FMIC like oohnoo.

I know for sure that a kit like that is going to be a PITA to install, since its not vehicle specific.

And yes, you can install a FMIC while keeping the crash bar.

you will still need a form of a ypipe. If you have a single in and single out intercooler, like 80 percent of intercoolers, the turbos have to come together before going into it.....hence a ypipe.

Exactly. You could probably use an ebay Y pipe from ChromeIntakes or something... I believe its been done before.

Just so you know running 2.5 inch hot side piping is going to be a pain, especially when you try to route two of those pipes from the engine bay into the driver wheel well. Consider going with 2 inch or prepare to do some cutting and grinding on the car. The kit your looking at on ebay is universal. It will work, but its missing a few peices you would need to to complete the setup for FMIC or SMIC. Checke out ebay or the "price matched parts" vendor on here for a complete setup. Its worth it to buy the premade FMIC kit unless you will be doing all the fitting and welding yourself.
