Default Engine Clicking. Need quick diagnosis

Just started clicking loudly yesterday. Here's the video. You can hear it about 9 seconds in. I am guessing valves by location, but if its something really simple, I'll take suggestions.

wtf?

It's sounds like you're the latest member of the SBC, but I don't understand why it's not constant.

Let me brain storm, or find aaron and ask him.

^ I'm on it

Drain your oil and take the oil filter off. Cut open the oil filter and look for specs of metal in the filter and in the oil. That will rule out whether it's a spun bearing or not. Most likely it is, so don't start the engine again. Once you've checked the oil, let me know what you find and we can diagnose it from there.

I've seen spun bearings happen on a first start up from a rebuild.

It's more common than not. /all it takes is one spec of metal left over to spin another bearing.

I'd say welcome to the Spun Bearing Club sir.

That's the confusing part. Follow ViperZ's advice, and we'll go from there.

This makes me want to puke. I've barely driven this car 300 miles since I got it.

Wow, yeah someone had no clue what the hell they were doing with that rebuild. Even if it isn't a spun bearing, there is something seriously wrong with the engine. What is your oil pressure at?

Also, what are your mods, tuning devices, etc..?
