Default E85?

new guy here i have a 92 stealth rt/tt with maf translator and dejon pipes, i've got a aem afr gauge too but just wondering what i need to run e85? i found something about a bigger fuel pump, and different injectors, i really don't want to buy two sets of injectors i'm gonna upgrade to 3sx's td05 header and turbo kit, so if i get 680's will that support 550 horse on e85?

If you are still on Stock Rods and pistons be very careful around and above 500WHP. Little "mistakes" in tuning will destroy the engine. As for is E85 capable yes. 680 will be a hair on the leaner side 700-740cc injectors will put your there a little better. Remember E85 requires more fuel.

Not being an ass, but if you need to make a thread asking how to make 5XX horsepower or what do I need for e85??, then you shouldn't even attempt this.

Stock engines have made 500 awhp - you just need to make sure the tuner knows what he is doing. e85 may be a bit more forgiving, since it burns substantially cooler than gasoline. But as L_P is right about little mistakes causing big problems. I'd recommend reading through that thread in Advance tech very carefully. You might also want to check IPO's dyno thread.

680s I do not believe will support 550hp on E85, well, maybe at the flywheel, but not at the wheels.

On E85 and 1000CC injectors at 50psi base fuel pressure at I am hitting 85-90% IDC or higher running 707AWHP. If that helps.

Figure your HP goals on gas, figure the pump and injector you need for that, then add 35% on top. That will be the injector you need for E85.

One walbro good for 550hp on gas. 35% Ethanol takes that down to 357hp. So you will need 2 pumps.

I don't know that it is that drastic. If that's the case my car would have been out of fuel long before I reached the end of my 550's. I would say my car is easily doing over 400AWHP as it feels a good deal faster than my 117mph trap. I'm on a hotwired walboro 255. I know it's approximate, but I really thought that fuel pump could go a little further than that even e85.

I might be totally wrong though, but I know the car is booking it right now.
