You don't have to use the global injector sizing feature at all if it helps. Most often idle or low engine loads will require less correction when you compare it to the rest of the map.

I just tuned the air correction map only, makes it easier in the long run.

You can`t pull fuel at injector level with the Blue, just trim air flow out (to a point).

I found from going 450 to 780 the deadtime makes a lot of difference at low injctor opening times (idle, low rpm cruise). It`s a ballach but basically you`ve got to start again from scratch with the tuning..

Hey guys, I am getting ready to add my walbro 255 , 450 injectors and emanage blue... would anyone be interested in helping me out with tuning the emanage? I would need some one on one support if possible, I dont know a lot about mapping and fuel adjustments so I really dont want to screw anything up... I would really appreciate it... I need someone that really knows their stuff. I also have a wideband to install if that is needed first..

I also have HHH datalogging capablities..(not well versed but hey I really need to and want to learn)

I have the emanage blue and a boomslang harness to go with it...

Please let me know...

Bryan

hmmm, okay finally got the wb hooked up and started playing w/ the emanage a bit more... anyone hve an idea why i am getting reverse results on the WB from emanage inputs?

For example i set emanage to 360base injectors and 450 finals it leans out and dies. If i set the injectors down to 250s it richens. same thing with changing A/F tables neg numbers = richer, positive numbers = leaner... WTF?

I picked up a new VR-4 and I'm having an odd problem. Map tracing in the fuel map works fine, it moves down for TPS and right for RPM. However, in the timing map it only moves down for TPS and will not go into the RPM's therefore I can't effectively pull timing as needed. Anyone seen this before? I'm hesitant to upgrade the firmware for fear of bricking it and was hoping there's a less intrusive fix I don't know about....anyone??

I should mention the map trace for timing hangs out at the top left 500rpm/0tps area and adjusting the values alters the idle so I know it's seeing timing changes, it's just not traversing through the rpm range to see where I've pulled timing at 5500rpm on up for some minor knock IF I lean it out to the proper AFR

I've seen that bug appear before too. I fixed it by pretending I'm setting up emanage up for the first time and go through all the steps. The important step is not to load a previous map, as it may have info that will cause the bug to appear.
