Great write up Mellon. This will definatley help my buddy and I when installing this. In your personal opinion what added on wires should i buy? Injection, ignition? You definatley sold me on this in my other thread and just waiting to order once i figure out what all i need.Thanks.
What would the benefits (if any) be for each of the optional/additional wires be?
I wrote a descripton for them ^^ it's pretty self explanitory but let me know what you don't understand and I'll try to elaborate and update the post if necessary.
Can you Run the Arc-2 From Gt Pro with the 87mm MAS and Just use the E-Manage to adjust timing??
sure.. but why would you wan't to tune the air/fuel with an the Arc-2 when yo have an e-manage? I would keep the arc-2 becuase it flows better than the stock MAS but not do any correction with it.. leave that up to the e-manage.

There are users out there with the ARC2 + SAFC. You can easily subsitute the SAFC with the Emanage. It shares the same wiring as the SAFC (12V, ground, TPS, MAF in, MAF out), so it makes switching from SAFC to Emanage easy. Stealth316 website has a schematic on how to wire up a SAFC and ARC2 together, so you can use that one.
Wiring the timing harness won't be too difficult. You just intercept 3 ignition wires from the ECU and cut them in half, and wire those ends to the Emanage. A total of six wires.
I'd use the ARC2 to do the bulk of the tune, and then use the Emanage to fine tune.
A couple months ago I made a webpage on Emanage for a school project. I just looked in my directory and found a pic that's useful. These are the rotorary switch settings for use on our cars.
