Default Cracked transfercase

I noticed aoil leakage from my tc the other day
As i already had changed the sealrings i thought i should put on some new silicone on the housing.
But when i opened it i found a tiny crack in the front housing.
I remember that i have read about a steelhousing somewhere,but i don`t remember where.....
Thanks for any help/suggestions on replacement/upgrade.
Roger

PS applied some threadlock in the crack and it seem to hold the oil inside, but i am a bit scared of go wot...

These cars are not imported by an authorized dealer at all into Norway....
I think i have to take a phonecall to the Mitsu-dealer.
BTW I have a 91 Dodge... Is it a recall on these old cars? Do i have to go to a Chrysler-dealer? What about the powermods i have done? Does it affect the recall?

Took a few phonecalls today to the chrysler-importer here in Norway.
The man i talked with checked my v.i.n and told me that it was on recall
Now i just have to talk to the nearest dealer to figure out what to do.
Since i use my car every day,and the nearest dealer is 75 miles away i would like to change it myself. After all,i work as a workshop-manager at a Peugeot/ and Mitsu-dealer....
I`m SO happy right now!!
Thank god i have this forum,if not i would never have found out about the recall

The dealer you work at works on Mitsubishis, too? Wonderful. I'm not sure if the situation in Norway is better than it is here, but I'm in the US and have had nothing but trouble with the local Dodge dealers. [Dodge is a division of Chrysler, in case you'd never heard the brand before. I'm not trying to be insulting. Just trying to take some precautions for international differences.] The Stealth is made by Mitsubishi, uses all the same parts, and was just 'repackaged' to be sold under a different name. The Mitsubishi dealer should be able to do the work for you.

I haven`t talk to the Mitsu network yet, because it seems to be ok with the Chrysler network. I am pretty sure that since it has a Dodge v.i.n the Mitsu-guys say no-no.....
But off course if it doesnt go ok with Chrysler,i will give it a try
