comp turbo? anyone heard anything

CT2 series..anyone use it?

i might consider ct2 4947 modell with billet compressor and triple ball bearing if i will not decide to garrett GTX 2863r,

Looking to buy from KRB ??

My money is still on Garrett in regards of durability even though Comp have proven excellent performance. Depends on your use of the car....

On the other hand .... We SERIOUSLY have to get a beer sometime... Oslo is like 15 min from here

Im using ct2 5347 on my build, I have used CT for a few years now with great results Garrett's are good but any t28 taken above 25psi is calling for mayor problems! CT bearing system is tottaly different than Garrett.

anyway i was in contact with KRB they can order it for me. I can have little better price from distrubutor in Germany..but..money is a 2nd priority (almost) 100usd-200usd this or that way will not make a difference if i have to buy this turbo again!

also.. we have proven dbb dr800 (but i cannot find exact spec. on wheels for this turbo) , and on top of that there is GTX2863r that might be very nice too.

i want to make a perfect match to my needs

thanks. ..so CT looks like good way to go.
i read some bad opinions from 2010 mostly searching on google....regarding the quality...but...definilty most of them are happy with that CT turbos - especially with throttle respons and spool.
strange.. but i never read anyting on 3si about this turbos..

You are still going twin ? .... And Comp is pretty new compared to the others. I responded on another thread about the same thing (Italo Grassos`s thread I think) about the "hear-say" regarding these over here.

Im still on the build man , But is a 3.0L engine with 9.0:1 compression pistons 272 cams stage 3 ported head My custom v-band headers and intake manifold.

Doing the math I calculated about 12-15psi around 3000-3800rpms but the calculation is with a fix environment no variables unlike real life testing but it would give you a rough idea where shit will be at.

Basically I wanted a 100% street car but DR750 would not give me 750hp I want, and the ct5347 will support up to 800awhp considering our drivetrain loses and with a spool close to dr750 not to mention you get the latest in technology.
