Ignore my sig, I’m driving a twin turbo. When accelerating between 2k and 3k RPM’s, the car jerks pretty bad. After about 4k the jerking subsides quite a bit and a whistling/hissing noise gets louder and louder. Is this a boost leak? How should I start diagnosing this problem?

Sounds like it. Start with a simple visual inspection (sometimes you can hear where the air is coming from and find it quickly). You'll want to pressure test to make sure everything is tight.

I would inspect front turbo exhaust manifold for cracks. I personally ran into 2 cars that had cracked front turbo manifolds at weld sims. Simply remove top heat shield to see. If everything ok look for loose piping or blown seals. How much psi are U running?
