Question boost controller help please

I just got a blitz sbc i-color. I got it installed and am trying to get is set up. I have aftermarket turbos, a high flow intake, stillen racing down pipe, peformance cat back exhaust. I am getting a weird power loss. it feels like the motor shuts off at just over 20 psi. Is this spark blowout???? also what would be better to run in auto or man?? and any recomended settings would be helpfull.

try with less.

there is a note to first establish base boost and then to go to upper values.

CH1 set first with let say 0,5 bars (due to not knowing what turbos you have) established on AUTO mode and no gain included (gain 0).
After red goes to yellow (learn mode finished) turn the same CH1 to MANU mode to get precise control.

Here is mine set to 0,87 bar (13G, stock injectors) on MANU mode.

...

If You want to make another boost level pick up new (CH2) , don't mess with CH1 - leave it! gain is very delicate thing. +5 would be to much for start.
Tried setting 0,9 + 5gain and had overshooting 1,03 bar @4000rpm (top limit for stock).

uh, what turbos and what injectors do you have? you didn't mention any fuel mods. If you're on the stock fuel system then you're definitely hitting fuel cut when you hit 20psi.

It sounds like you're going for max boost straight away, which is definitely not a good idea. Start out low.

Unhappy Re: boost controller help please

k well i have a completly stock fuel system. the turbos i will have to dig up the receipt. bought them like 6 yrs ago. all i remeber is that they are factory upgrades that push 40% more air. i also have a carbon fiber 1 peice driveshaft for it as well.

k i tried setting it to auto mode and wound up changing set-0 gain-0 response -slow, keep gain -0 and limiter to 1 and i still am gettin 20+ psi and the car is still fallin on its face around 5k rpm. i am confused on how it is still hitting that high of boost with everything on 0.

also does anyone have a clue on how long it takes for auto to learn and the ch to change color.

please help

maybe you have the vacuum lines hooked up wrong? sounds like your wastegate actuators arent getting a signal and those turbos are running wide open

on stock fuel you dont want to run more than 14psi. You are hitting fuel cut like a madman

do not use the auto feature at all .........gain to be set at 5 no matter what channel ur on. Set the controller up on psi and put it on manual then start with channel 1 at 50% , channel 2 at 60% and test it like this but make sure ur pushing the knob in and clicking on any changes that u have made and stay away from high boost until u upgrade that fuel system.....happy boosting

Auto learn mod can be set quickly in 5 km. I had also experience not to finish learning mode for 400km (overshooting).
At the moment the FIRST thing is to remove high boost 20PSI. It is too much.
YOU WILL KILL YOUR ENGINE!
Check connection of your hoses.

Make reset of ECU and boost controller.
Set CH1 to AUTO at 0,5 bar. Gain 0. Response: MILD. Keep gain:20
After you sukcesfully set o,5 bar boost you can go for more.
Getting straight to manu 50% or 60% iz not good BECAUSE on my 13G that are less capable than yours (0,87 bar = 59%). It means that your 60% is maybe 10 to 15% more meaning 0,95 to 1,005 bar.
Cars are not eaqual. You can have knock at 0,8x bars and not to have it at 1 bar.
Get someone to monitor boost while you driving and you don't need to PUSH straight to RED zone. Easy.

k well i just got home from work i am going to let it cool down some and i will try reseting it and starting over. i will also check my hoses. but i am pretty sure i have the acuators put to OUT and the turbos side put to IN. but i will verify

thanks for all the help so far. I am just trying to get the boost under control. does anyone know the stock injector rating and if i could use the hot wire kit for my stock pump until i can save to get the better fuel pump? would it help out at all?
