Default BLITZ SBC new mount approach (56k no)

Hi,

a different way to install Blitz SBC. Pay attention to brake boost hose and valve (needs small modification - expert consultation).
Improvement is to shortening way/hoses between solenoid valve and turbines. For other details refer to Stealth 316 Home and/or RTEC Sport Tuning Switzerland.
Enjoy!

Clean install, much better looking than mine.

Should there be any concern about heat with the proximity to the turbo? I know these boxes are built to take punishment, but I don't know how much.

I have mine on the firewall under the resistor pack.

Nice work on the bracket and mounting, I eyed that as the ideal spot, but like was previously mentioned I was concerned about there being too much heat coming off the rear turbo. Anyone else have one mounted here that can comment on the long term reliability?

Dont know if it makes a difference, but thats where I have my Greddy Profec B Spec II solenoid installed, no problems as of 15k miles.

concerning heat:

pressure set 0,9 bars.
so far didn't have any problems. had tests more that 280 km/h long run.
more information can tell after summer season.
have though to put insulation on SBC and hose but left it as it is due to the fact that stock valve was quite close to the same spot (no big temperature difference).
Notice: have bought it to have smooth boost curve, but got better throttle response with small overshot setting (gain set to 2 not 5 or 15).
