anyone know how to get the damn biss screw out.....trying to but is there a special technique?

It's a standard thread with an o-ring. Unscrew it and pull.

thought that but when unscrewed its flush with top and for the life of me i cannot get it to come out, i'm tired of having rtv to fill the leak and finally got a replacement, but cannot get the damn screw out

Huh. What do you mean flush with the top? It's got a ton of thread and will be unscrewing for a while.

I know what your saying, this happened to me. what I did was unscrew for a long time then use a flat blade screwdriver and pry up. After a couple trials it came out

Remove the throttle body and push it out from the inside. Or if you have a compressor and pressure tester, pressurise the system and it will pop right out.

alright......will be tommorow....thanks was trying to avoid takig tb off, my compressor is loaned out but will be back in morning so i think thats what i'll do, i guess nothing is gonna ever be easy on this car!

taking the tb off isn't that bad, but the compressor trick should work. just be carefull, that screw can shoot out like a bullet.
