Default adjustable cam gears needed?

I am going to be getting a whole new td05 setup with new block and all and my questions is if i need adjustable cam gears with the AEM EMS? Does the weight difference make that much of a difference? (16.1 oz stock VS. 14.5 oz fidenza)

I have AEM with stock cam gears.

I am curious as to if the fidenza gears make a difference.... are they worth the money?

It's not so much the power difference the gears give you, it's the ability to move the power band around.

So if i am going to have stage 3 heads with a street cam from IPS, would the adjustables be good to have, or can the timing changes be done with the EMS?

Valve timing and ignition timing are two completely different things.

I guess here's the question... If you are already getting new cams, are you really going to want to change the valve timing some more? I am guessing the answer is no, otherwise you should just get race cams in the first place (or some other grind). That's my two cents.
