No, I was saying that I 100% agree with your post (the one I quoted). I had to use the :stupid smiley because 3si doesn't use a :smartie: smiley. Either way, I'm with ya.

So since i am getting a street grid cam, that will advance my timing enough, so then i should sell the cam gears.

I'd say talk to IPS about it. I don't know what their street cam profile looks like. They should be able to give you an honest recommendation based on your power goals.

Mitsubishi recommended settings cam gears for 3000gt SL 96 dohc

i need suggestions about setting fidanza adjustable cam gears for a 3000gt SL
how many +,- on intake and exhaust. i heard about +1 intake and -3 on exhaust but i think that only works for the TT.

modifications:
cold air intake
2 1/2 exhaust
fuel pressure reg
flowmaster pipe
underdrive crank pulley
10.2mm spark wires
fidanza adjustable cam gears

it's all in the valve timing....i set my gears to the +1-3 setting and it made a huge impact on my assometer... i've read in other threads where ppl have used cam gears on street grind cams as well as the race grinds and found the difference to be worth the time and money. if i had a bpu car this would be one of the first power adders i would put on.
