Sorry forgot to add this, Will it stay at zero once set there? Or could it work its way back? How did yours turn out?

I just had a thought, i dont know if it will work or not. The metal ring is very thing so what you could do it cut it into an arc with a dremel and then just glue the two pieces back together.

Good idea. Theoretically it should work. WTF its worth a try. But do you think it will stay at zero if set? I guess it should right?

I finally found an old thread that discusses this cursed beep that has been haunting me

My car is seeing the mechanic this week and I will tell him to examine the brake and clutch booster hoses to make sure that they have a check valve.

Is the car really knocking when it beeps, or does the beep have nothing to do with actual knock occurring? My car just started to do this after I had the 'free boost mod' done to it.

I have the same beep on mine and is is related to the clutch as I come onto full boost. As the car comes onto boost the clutch pedal moves up slightly. If I keep my foot on it to prevent this slight movement, I don't get the beep. What is and where should I look for a check valve?
