The question is how much did you pay for it?

1) he is new and 2) he had panels showing awd badging and such...how was he to know? Just relax, he's not trying to get over...he was just asking.
Umm, how about looking under the car?

It doesn't take an ASE Master Mechanic to know that the back wheels have to be connected to some sort of driveline in order for the car to be all-wheel drive.

If he paid a premium for the car thinking it was some freak one of a kind AWD NA, he deserved to get hosed by virtue of spending his money before doing even the most basic research. 5 minutes on MSN Autos and Carfax would have told him this car was bullshit. Not to mention just sticking his nose under it like I've already said.

This just begs the question. What else is wrong or bogus with this car? Is the mileage accurate? It the title legit? Is it a theft recovery or vandalism victim like I originally suggested?

What a waste of a thread, all you had to do was post a pic of the undercarriage in the first place. Only AWD NAs were overseas.

Matt it was found out that the side windows were possibly changed out and had them replaced with the AWD side glass and the prior owner was faking the funk.

Yeah. If an average person was told something was AWD and it said AWD on the windows, they would assume its AWD.
