Default Corpus Christi, TX

I'm in the military and moving to Corpus by the end of FEB '08. Wondering how many 3S'ers are in the area and if they can suggest a good mechanic that knows our cars. I was stationed in Corpus from '95-'97 and loved it. Had a motorcycle back then and now will be driving my VR4 down from New England. Thanks in advance and hope to meet alot of you!

Welcome to the TX area... I don't think there are any members in the Corpus area though.

eitherway welcome to Tejas. For repairs hook up with Gecko1 in Houston or AdamVR4 in Austin or Showkiller in san antonio, not 100% sure whos closer.

Appreciate the Hellos! Like a say, I won't be there til Febuary, but I'm pretty active up here and hope to continue down there. Just replaced the motor and waiting to break it in, but very interested in track days. Sounds like Showkiller will be closest, i think San Antonio is just over 2 hours away.

Yep, i just went down to Port Aransas on Wednesday and it took me about 2.5 hrs to get there. However, by the time February rolls around i'll probably be back in DFW or Texarkana. I should find out which in the next few weeks.

I'm sure I'm one of the ones that they are referring to. I was in Corpus with the Navy for around a year. There really weren't any others that ever wanted to do much. Luckily for you, you aren't far from some of the smartest and best guys on the board.

Sadly, I've since moved to Pensacola, FL again.
