I doubt anyone remembers me, I showed up in 05 looking to sell my miata and get a vr4. Well I finnaly decided to sell the miata.
I found a white 92 vr4 in dallas that I like, but I need someone to look at it for me.

Ive been watching lately, as it goes up for sale every so often. The first time I saw it pop up was about 6 months ago, on my hometown forum called
www.htown-dsm.com. After that, I slowly watched it get posted up every so often on other local forums

Heres my problem:
Im not really a sneak...I just like to know all I can about a car. I called him up and asked him about a thread he made (on 3si.org) about white smoke burning in the car, and he said " that never happend" it wasnt untill I read the post word by word that he goes "oh, yea, that was teh clutch"
I then asked what psi he runs it at, since he has a boost controller. He told me stock, 11 (which is not stock), and then I asked about another thread he made where he took it to the track, was running 14psi, and ran a 15.6. He once again said that never happend, and I didint bother reading the post to him.
Other info I *kinda* was told about the car:
*Unsure if oil pump has been replaced, said 120k was done at 110k
*One of his threads says AC does not work, he now says it does
*He "tounge in cheek" told me about the transfer case, seems that mitsubishi gave him or the previous owner the slip on fixing it.
*some kinda shimmy or vibration at 2k RPM in first gear.
*Something about a "movement" in the rear end
*Did not get anywhere on why its been repainted
And all this info, plus more, had to be dragged out. When straight up asked about the car, I was told it was perfect.
Im buying this car as a daily driver. Im kinda getting a mix message from the seller, and that usually is a sign to run away, but I have anotehr car to get me around while I fix the vr4 should something be wrong with it.
So right now im trying to find someone in dallas who can go look at this car for me. Me and omar (adrenaline_vr4) were supposed to go, but then we found out it was in dallas, not houston.
So like I said, Im really intrested even if it has problems, I just want to be told HONESTLY UP FRONT, what is wrong, and the owner seems to be trying to get around some stuff, because honestly ATM I wouldnt offer more then $4k for the car, untill I can get someone to give me more solid info on the car.
