Default Rocky Mountain Gathering 05

Yes, it is early, but I am a very impatient person. Let's do this again!! And make it better.

Dates: June 17th(friday) and 18th(saturday)
Place: Colorado Springs Colorado
Hotel accomidations:Quality Inn Garden of the Gods

Planned Events:

Friday Evening 1/4 drag event at PMI, caravan from the hotel will leave at around 3:30-4:00 P.M. All racers are invited

Saturday : Road Course in Pueblo at PMI. $60.00 per car, 3S only. Leave the hotel around 9:00 to start racing at 10:00 until???????????
Car show 6:00 3S cars will park as a group and compete for trophies, others are welcome to come--there are usually over 100 other cars there.

Sunday: travel home. Anyone staying longer can take a mountain drive to Cripple Creek (scenery, twisty roads, gambling).

any questions just ask Peggy @ stealth_91@hotmail.com

Mechanics/tuners will be at every event, just in case, and at least one car hauler will be there, hopefully just to watch.

The car show was excellent last year. I think if it were held in the same spot that would work. The amount of different cars that showed up were amazing. Never seen a skyline in before. Judging might be changed so that each person with 3si could vote on someone elses car. I thought that is what was going to happen this year but guess not. The mountain climbing thing was awsome. Really need more people to go.

I definately liked the mountain drive Wish there was more to be done though when we went to cripple creek..maybe like a BBQ or something? Car show was awesome....late-night cruise kinda sucked IMO...Looking forward to RMG05 for sure though!!!

Well I hope to make it there again. I had a good time. Going to have to drive a little longer to get there next year though, moving to Tucson.
