Daveslow is at Purdue. I think there are a few guys out there actually. I went there myself and go down every now and then since I'm an alumni advisor for my fraternity. Beta Theta Pi.

I got a TT engine because I blew my NA engine and got a deal on a TT Engine and all the parts for the conversion. They dont make a Getrag FWD. Its an AWD tranny converted to FWD and its because its way stronger than my NA transmission. I had to make it that way. I really dont feel like adding another 600lbs to my car for all the awd parts and having to share my HP with 4 wheels instead of two. Plus its nice to be different. Hope that answeres your question

As far as I see it I didnt sacrifice anything. It would have cost me a lot more time and money to go awd and its just not worth it to me. I would have just bought an AWD if I felt it was that much better. BTW the one of the fastest 3s's in the world is FWD

well i have the same gear ratio and i have the same suspension. Ive drivin both. Im not saying one is better than the other. There are good arguments for either. But I like the setup I have and it was practicle for me for getting my HP goals
