Need a chitown gearhead

I bought a base 93 stealth last February for $700. It was really cheap because the original owner utterly raped the engine (it was the SOHC). He drove it for sometime after the coolant pick-up tube snapped off in the resevoir and possibly cracked a head, blew a gasket, etc. I bought a used DOHC and ripped it down to just the basic pieces, but now I need someone to give me some help with tearing out the old engine and rebuilding the newer better engine. As a side note I believe that the blocks are different and need a different wiring harness and I'm pretty sure I need a new ECU. Anyways if someone could offer their time and experience, I'd be happy to compensate you for your troubles. Even a referrence would be welcomed. I'd really like to get this baby running before the 1 year ownership anniversary passes. Thanks for the help!!

I don't know if Jeff would want to handle a project of this magnitude but you might try calling him. I'll PM you his info.

You need a hell of a lot more than just a new engine harness and ECU. You basicly need a DOHC donor car.

Well that's why I came to you guys; to find out exactly what I need. I'm not pretending to know more then I do. I know that this project is going to take alot of time, effort, and money.

It would probably be less money to buy a DOHC car.

yeah it seems like that sohc is game over. better to just part out what you can and junk it.
