Chitown and Surrounding Area RX7 and RX8 Meet and Greet Nov 10th!

A good friend of mine is setting up this meet we have about 60 rx-7s and rx-8s and a bunch of other cars. Lets show them some real cars with a large 3Si turn out.


Chi-town and Surrounding Area Meet.
OK, well I got permission from the owner of the land to use it whenever we like for meets. Below I have listed the details of the meet and for now it’s a 100% go unless we do not get much in the way of participation. If you have any questions or comments or need info about the surrounding area or hotels please feel free to contact me.

When:
Friday November 10th 2006
5:30pm – whenever we want

Where:
Naperville, IL 60564
(Address will be released 11-8-06)

Who:
We would like mostly RX7’s and RX8’s
Other cars will be permitted but rx7’s take parking priority.

What:
RX7 and RX8’s meet and greet. Food and Drinks and Big bonfire, music and fun.

Notables:
· Downtown Naperville is always packed with people and it’s only a 5 min. drive
· I-55 is only 5 min. away from meet location so cruising downtown Chicago to a club is also a possibility. Streets of Woodfield is about 30 minutes away but all highway so cruising there is also do-able.
· In front of the land there is a long straight stretch (about 3 miles) of un-incorporated Will County.
· Working on getting a few local shops to attend or supply giveaways.
· Easy to get to and get out of.
· Room for up to 50 cars comfortably parked (More room available if needed)
· Clean and well taken care of land and Huge Garage
· It’s Free! No cover or parking fees.

Just a quick update guys. If it is raining out all morning friday the meet will be Saturday or Cancelled. If it is Saturday then we will let you know as soon as we know where the meet will be held. This is a big "IF" so for right now the meet is on as planned. Everyone knows how quickly the weather changes so lets just play the wait and see game. I have updated the list and still plan on releasing the address tomorrow Thursday Nov. 9th. We still have a few more spots before we are full so if you know people interested please let them know.

We are also currently looking for a indoor facility for a possible rainout location on Friday night. We will try to keep everyoen up to date.

We have decided if the weather is bad on Friday night to move it to Saturday night. We will keep everyone updated on their respected boards on what day and where. I know this will ruin some peoples chance on coming due to work and stuff but this really our only other choice if the weather is bad Friday Night. Times would remain the same. OK here is the address. We want everyone to remember to check your forums tomorrow morning Friday 11-10-06 for a update on wether or not we are having it on Friday night or Saturday Night. Right now the weather is not looking like its going to turn in our favor until Saturday but we will keep you updated. PLEASE DO NOT go to the location. You can drive by if you'd like but PLEASE do not go there and walk around or anything. This is a residence and regardless if the people are in full support of the meet I ask that you respect them and not show up there until the meet.
