I'm not sure where Altamont is, are you thinking of something around the springfield area?

somewhere around effingham or mattoon area, here in effingham where the corvette show is held there are a lot of hotels and maybe able to work something out with the guy to have it at the corvette center here

you guys up north there are awfully close to the Mi. gathern of the national 3000si . trying to get people in the southern 4 state area interested in a meet ,IL.,IN.,KY. and MO. maybe OH. also

I know there are some beutifull backroads and a few forest preserves between rockford and where I am, batavia.

Yea pending upon how far away from rockford I would be up for it. But I'm currently in the middle of the 120k wont be done for another week or 2 so depends on when this is going to happen too.

i think Effingham is around 250 miles south of chicago on I 57 it is at the intersection of I 57 and I 70 so easy to get to from any direction. i am just trying to gage the interest of everyone.
