Oh... almost forgot to mention, you guys are going to be able to chill in the parking lot of our Oceanfront Hotel while watching Monster Trucks tear it up on the Beach.

I'm down for going to every gathering I can get to. If you guys can schedule the meets so that you don't have to miss one to go to another, that would be optimum. I'm about to start working my balls off to get to the ECGs this year. SC 3/S needs to have some representation. So guys, can you make it so I can go to both shows please?

I feel that all you will succeed in doing is killing a dying gathering. You seem to be full of energy and ideas. Why not use it to make ECG more attractive to everyone. I wasn't around for the 100 car ECG's ( wish I was ). I would love to attend one. It is not going to happen by dividing forces. All will happen is it will become a MEET and not a GATHERING.

I can't figure out why you think Va. beach will be a better place than O.C.

I say leave it in O.C. and use your enthusiasm to make it a better gathering rather than tearing us apart.

ECG OC unfortunatly is dead as it currently sits. Ive been going for 7 years. Its the exact same thing every year.

We've been going to OC for like 15 years now.

Maybe it'll work out better with a change of scenery, maybe not. If we keep going as-is we will just watch attendence drop each year as it has been since the 03 gathering.

Rick has been going to OC for at least 10 years. Ever since the Nassua was sold and levelled, little clicks and groups have developed. It's become a party more than a gathering. Nothing wrong with an ECG party, but the gathering is also about the cars. Maybe this year it is time for a change and get the ECG Family back together. Va Beach has worked very hard to improve their image,prices,hotels and tourism. Also, for those of you that haven't gone thru the Chesepeake Bay Bridge Tunnel wide open with the windows down, be prepared for an awesome time!!! Every year Rick and I go, one of the best parts of the trip is the CBBT. Even better is having Eric in front doing the 3SI/3SX SOS. BRG is always about the family. This past year, we had to party behind the dumpsters! That's what a family does. The 1st time you come to BRG, we get to know you;the 2nd time you're family!
