Maybe, but I can't commit to a weekend right now. The last two weekends, I will possibly be in LA. The weekend of the 16th-19th would probably be the best. Everybody would have to buy

Richmond has some decent downtown bar areas. Williamsburg... not as much. The W&M college students essentially only have three watering holes, which they call Delis. Why? Because they are all a deli by day, and serve beer at night. They are in Colonial W'sburg though. The more modern areas have some scattered restuarants that act as bars, but no main drag. VA Beach, however, is only 30 minutes away. (Hmmmmm.... We could kidnap Jay!)

Also, I should mention that Busch Gardens has an also "Halloscream" event throughout most of the month. The closer you get to the 31st, the more stuff they have going. I have never been in October, but my friend (who has season passes) swears it is the best time of the year to go.

That water view of the Hotel at Waterside looks like it was taken from the marina where I keep my boat.

Consider me in...

My parents live a minute away from BG and we could BBQ there Friday night or Saturday night.

As for local hot spots....Go-Karts Plus Second Street Restaurant & Tavern, Paul's Deli (on William and Mary campus), and The Corner Pocket (Billiards w/ small Bar). Those are the only places I can think of going.

The girls will LOVE Prime Outlets Williamsburg stores and that could keep them occupied for a good while if they aren't into KD or BG.

We could, also, cruise down to Yorktown beach along Colonial PKWY. It would be a great route for some rolling shots and still shots.

Maybe if I have the available funds and a few people to go with when the time comes around though.

I have an idea. Stop in MD as a hub for a night (Leave wednesday), then move on down towards Kings Dominion. Only a suggestion for those coming south from NY, NJ, etc.

VA isn't an extremely long drive from NY, coming down Thursday night would be sufficient. I don't really want to make it an all week thing, because that makes it more expensive and changes the hotel rate. If anything I'll be there Thursday and folks that can't afford the extra night can bunk w/ me, thus only paying for two nights (Friday/Saturday).
