2008 October Quickening 10-17 to 10-19
UPDATE 10/17/2008
Hey all- Final updates- The Poker Run will kick off at the event hotel- I will be setup near the lobby to register/check in. We should be on the road around 9:00 So register by 8:30. The car show will be at Sea food Sam's starting around 4ish. Cars on the poker run will be coming from the Jungleplex in Plymouth. my cell number 617 308 7530. I missed getting to the track after 7+ hours on a plane it wasn't going to work for me. There were 5 or 6 cars there so we'll get an update from them tomorrow. see you in the am. Eric ----------UPDATE 10/15/2008------- Just a couple of more days- I am ordering the car show trophies today. (It is already 3:00pm where I am.) the Jungle Plex Autisim Speaks event will be just a stop on the poker run. The facility is not insured for a gathering in its parking lot. So- The car show will be at Sea Food Sam's like years past. I will post the starting location of the Poker run once I have it. For those who know how the run works, my mom is out on the roads this week making sure that they are safe to travel on and the scenery is good. Look forward to seeing everyone. (The updated who's coming is showing about 17. Again I know there are a couple of names not on the list yet that will be there.) I think we will have 20 or so registered folks. I am working with a charity group to get the car show to coincide with an Autism awareness fund raiser.
