SUTHNR NG08 Pics - a whole truckload

Hey Folks,
Busy with processing wedding pics now that I'm back so what I posted up is literally a DUMP from the camera - all three 4gb memory cards! There were over 2200 pics to start with and I didn't really narrow it down much, they're just about all there. NO editing on them other than a few of the ones inside Graceland, no crops or anything - cars centered in the frame were caught that way, cars cut in half were cut in half. Most of the pics are taken by yours truly, a bunch by Cristy - Stlth664 - (THANKS CHRISTY!) since I obvioulsy can't shoot myself driving the courses, and pretty much any of the drags pics were taken by Lori's dad (THANKS) - that went by so quickly and wth rain avoidance and my packing stuff before the onslaught, I don't think I fired but a few shots that evening.

For the techno guys: All pics taken with Nikon D200. Racing pics shot with Nikon 70-300 VR lens, camera on continuous tracking focus and continuous-low shutter and P mode. Other pics taken with Nikon 18-135 lens camera on P. Everything handheld. Everything shot at 10mp and reduced to gallery using Arles Image Webpage Creator.

So enough, grab a big arse bag of popcorn, put on a long double album, and enjoy almost 2200 pictures. I squished them to 600px longest side so they're small but load quickly.

Those are great, Eric. Thanks for sharing. Any chance I could get a couple at high res for my own personal use? I, of course, just skimmed through a lot of them, but I really liked that you got some of the people and some great ones of Graceland. Thanks!

Yeah, I know, but it's already 112mb total, had to keep the overall size reasonable. Took all dayum day to upload everything (upload never as fast as down). But if you click that "100%" down in the lower right corner of your browser (IE anyway) it'll make them bigger.

For you Lori, whatever you need Full rez are 10megapixel and range from 3mb to 7mb per picture.

Wow, yeah, thanks for sharing Eric. We almost bought a new DSLR for the trip, but I thought monies were better spent considering we already have a functioning digital camera. I see where we will have a new Nikon or Canon DSLR for the next NG.
