If it does not log on and makes the fields blank... it's a password or username problem. If you've recently changed your password, try an older password. Email Alan (his email is at the top of the page) with any other problems!

MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION ON THE "INSTRUCTIONS" PAGE BEFORE CONTINUING. WE HAVE STRICT PAYMENT DEADLINES THIS YEAR WHICH ARE ALL DETAILED ON THAT PAGE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING THE POLICIES AND MEETING THE DEADLINES.

Once you've registered for the NG, you'll be given the phone number of the Hotel and a passcode to tell them when you call.

DO NOT RESERVE A HOTEL ROOM WITHOUT REGISTERING FOR THE NG. IT WILL BE CANCELLED!

This is being done different than previous years. You are required to sign up for the National Gathering and pay for a minimum of the participants package which is $60 this year (you are getting more than in previous years!) before you can reserve your hotel room. Once you have successfully signed up and have made your minimum payment, you will be given the hotel reservation details plus the code that is required to reserve a room. The advantage to signing up immediately is choices of rooms. There are pool side rooms available and those are on a first come basis. The same with king rooms, rooms that permit pets, and smoking rooms. Once those are gone, they are gone.

We do recommend making your NG registration and hotel reservations ASAP, once the hotel is sold out, that is it. We will not be getting a group rate at a secondary hotel this year. The rate we negotiated ($55/night) is an exceptional rate. The Holiday Inn right down the road is a minimum of $100 per night. This is a resort town and they rely on the summer months to survive. July is PEAK SEASON, and hotel rooms are not cheap!

IF ANYONE HAS TROUBLE GETTING A HOTEL RESERVATION:
You will need to EMAIL: tiffany@3sng.org

In that email YOU MUST include: Time/date you called and NAME of the person you talked to. Also, what you were trying to do and what you were told. We cannot complain or fix problems without this information.

If you reserve a room under the group rate but do not pay for your National Gathering Registration before the clearly defined deadlines, we will cancel your hotel reservation. We have worked out the details with the hotel and we will be receiving a full list of reservations each week. If we see anyone on the list that did not register for the NG, we will cancel your reservation without giving you any notice.

Last year we had 20 hotel room cancellations the week of the National Gathering which hurt our group in several different ways. Those who wanted to get in at the official hotel couldn’t since the hotel was sold out and our group block was closed… the unused rooms went back into general reservations. This also hurt the rates. We received discounts (banquet room, Q&A room, etc.) based on how many rooms we booked. We planned the entire NG budget based on those discounts knowing that we had sold out our block in January. This is part of the reason the budget was so close last year. We would love to see the hotel parking lot with nothing but 3/S cars (and a few trailers of course). We are doing this looking out for those who are serious about coming to the National Gathering. This is also going to give us a better judge of how many people we can expect and how many people are planning on racing.

You will be able to make changes to your registration at any time up to 7 days prior to the National Gathering.

We are being VERY strict with the payment deadlines this year (but we have also given some leeway with payment plans!). Signups not paid by the deadlines will be subject to automatic cancellations without prior notice. Sorry, but we wasted SOO much time in past years trying to track down non-payers, making participants packages for them “just in case” they show up, etc. Please also note there will be extra charges for late reservations and a large extra charge for any on-site registration. These extra charges will go directly to the Organizers as payment for all the extra work and headaches that late signups cause. We have spent at least 20 hours per week for the 2 weeks prior to the NG in past years JUST doing the last-minute signups.

We are looking forward to seeing our old friends, and making new ones, at the 2005 National Gathering!

I missed the option for splitting the payment into two. I wish to pay 1/2 now and 1/2 next week. It appeared PayPal would only let me pay the total due.

I reviewed my regristation a second time but exited before confirming as I did not want to register twice.

Where does the two-payment option come up?

The no phone number thing threw me for a loop too. But I googled and found it.

Also, once you go back in and look at the summary of who is coming. It only shows 3 people. And it still says Indianapolis July 14-18, 2004 in the top corner.

But overall it went pretty smooth. Great work you guys! I wish it was July already!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel Phone is back on. Please re-logon to the Signup (totals page) and go to the "pay by check" button. That will take you to a page where the hotel info is. OR once you've paid via Paypal it will bring you back as well.

As for partial payments... you'll need to manually log onto PayPal and send a payment to payments@3sng.org
We are changing the instructions to reflect that, we didn't realize payPal only allowed full payment

Yep, you can log on and make changes at any time. But, make sure you review the refund policies if you are removing something.

Just a quick question, I accidently signed up for 3 t-shirts, but only wanted 2, went back and fixed it, and noticed that when i tried to update the final screen gave me an error.
