Thanks guys, it's an honour being ride of the month

The flames were due to a split transmission which dumped oil all over the exhaust (and the track, marshals weren't too impressed!). Replaced the transmission with a swap from the NA AWD GTO 5-speed to a TT 6-speed one and got out racing again a few weeks after. The full story can be found in this thread;

My GTO caught fire...

Car's currently waiting for a bit of work to be done on it, and then we start racing again with the first one of the 2013 season at Snetterton on March 16. This year we should have TV coverage on MotorsTV, hopefully you guys Stateside should be able to catch it online.
