i can understand that there are parts that can both increase performance and save some weight, radiators aren't one of them. if you think about it logically, this radiator is thicker than stock. thicker = more materials = more weight. the offset is that it's all aluminum vs. stock, which is probably bronze. will the aftermarket weigh more? possibly, but the reason people do this is for better cooling, not because it may weigh less. with the added amount of fluid you need to fill it up, i can almost guarantee this will make your car weigh more.

to the people who don't think the list is important, i don't see how being on a list makes us lazy to send payment. imo, it's the same as lining up for movie tickets or the next gen game console. you get in line because there's going to be limited quantities. the people at the head of the line should be the people who get first chance at it. people who are intersted in this will be watching this thread closely to know when the radiators come in and will likely pay within a reasonable amount of time. i would suggest a 24 hour period. if they haven't paid in a day, then the next person in line should get the chance. doing away with the list just invites anarchy. Jason would have to sort thru the payments and then have to spend the time to refund people. just because you didn't make the list doesn't give you the right to jump the line by offering to pay now.

i've seen way too many group buys sit for a week straight because 2-3 stragglers never pay up.

well, it's not as if Jason needs to wait a week or that we won't receive our radiators because someone won't pay up. it took about 24 hours for the list to fill up and another 4 to be added to the list throughout today. i don't see how Jason won't be able to sell all 10 within a short amount of time. this isn't a group buy and he never said it was. He said he was buying all 10 from his supplier. it's a get in line list.

Very true. I'd be pissed if someone came out of nowhere and sent money because I will wait patiently and have money ready but since I'm not on the main list I can just send my money as I will respect it. It's up to pmp to decide how long to wait really since it is their gb. The fact that there is a secondary list of people waiting with money I don't think this one will be a problem.

Due to all the demand the price just went up 50 bucks..

Just kidding hahaha

The guys in the first list get first dibs. I am going to start collecting payments early though so I can weed out those that are not going to come through. I will pm and give clear instructions to those first 10 along with a deadline payment will be due.. If no payment is received I will contact the next person on the list.

Sound fair?

Jason
