Ive seen it done before on your vehicle without any modifications. As long as your wheel dimensions are in range you shouldn't run into any problems. Any body else running 275s?

I've seen 275/35(30?)/18s on an 18x9 rim before, stock struts with Tein lowering springs and no issues.

I personally wouldn't run anything wider than a 265/35/18, myself.

I have 17 x 9 rims....I was thinking about staggering the tires at 245/45 in front and 275/40 in the rear....

You can certainly do that. I would try and stagger the wheels if possible. Run 17x8s up front.

I've been running 275/35/18s all around since Jan 07. I had to run spacers up front though. No problems, and the car has tons of grip, but I think my next set will be 265s...

What are you comparing this information to? The 92 RT came with 245/45-17standard right? So if that is correct then running 275/40-17s in the rear would be the most ideal.

I misread. The 18's came with 245/40, and I got it all confused in my fart-tastic brain.

275/40/17 is 0.1% off of 245/45/17. Good to go.
