Alternator is back in. Its been in since the day before ECG. I threw it back in since I thought it was good, according to Advanced Auto. It was fine until I had to turn my lights and wipers on for the rain on the way home. Thats when I noticed the problem was still there. I've checked with a volt meter on the battery terminals and it does read low when in drive, foot on the break and with all accessories on. Just like the internal gauge says. But when driving even in low speeds I have no problem, only when stopped. It also only does it when lights are turned on. I can turn on all my other accessories and not have a problem. I'm thinking that maybe there is something wrong with the wiring for my lights. I'm not that savy when it comes to electricity and wiring, so maybe my guess is wrong. But I just don't know. When I find the time, I'll pull the alternator out and have it tested again.

Have you tried using a different battery? Seems like the alternator might be okay, but the battery is draining faster under load than the alternator can charge it in. If you have a known good battery to try swapping, see if that helps. Maybe the other alternators burned up trying to overcharge the battery or due to battery issues?

Just a stab in the dark, though.
