Default emissions help

im in annapolis and the past 4 times ive gone, ive failed emissions horribly. theres no way i can pass. got an hks ssqv, vac reduc, etc and im not even close. everytime i go, i pay like 20 bucks and then i fail and they tell me i have one more month to try to get it passed. then the month passes and my registration gets suspended. i was wondering if anyone knew a guy or a place nearby who could pass me. maybe slip him a couple 20s and have him hook me up? i need a connection. itd b much appreciated. thanks!

Hmmm, have you had your cat checked out? If it's old it might need to be replaced.

Are they actually running it or just doing the sniffer test? Since it's a '91 they should only be doing the sniffer test and the mods shouldn't really matter. I know I had pretty much the same mods with a full exhaust and new high-flow cat and I passed with flying colors.

Or, you could talk to the Sean at Extreme Motorsports. I remember when I was getting my car worked on he said he "knew a guy." But luckily I didn't need it. lol

they hook those things up to my exhasut and run it on rollers for a few minutes. and i keep failing. i prob do need a new cat but itd cost more to buy one and have someone put it on (its all rusted down there someone else would have to cut and weld) than to pay someone off. gay i know lol.

Hmm, I was wrong. they do run them on rollers. But I suspect it's your cat. Do you have the print out of the test and do they tell you what's wrong? You're probably going to have to take it to a shop to get it looked at to really pass.

Sorry...
