Rockin' AEM in winter

Test Shots from my macro (from last year = old)
Last year my mom bought a macro lens for me as an early birthday present. These were my first photos from the day it came in the mail! (For the record, my mom gave me the flowers too!) These aren't really phenomenol, but I wanted to share something in the new PAV section!
  The lens is a Tamron 90mm F2.8, and the camera body used was a Nikon D70.

I used two pieces of posterboard for my backgrounds (I didn't have a big enough piece to eliminate the line where they meet). A foam board for the "floor" and a posterboard for the background. Then I used a window for my main light, and a aluminum foil wrapped foam board piece for my reflector/fill light. Then I swapped between my 90mm macro and my 50mm F1.8. (I love primes because I can afford them!) So these were my first tests. They were ok, but I didn't like them very much...    These were from my second subject....I ♥ JGTC!    |
