Sean call me later if you want and I'll show you some cool tricks with the XTi
First set looks awesome. I'd stop it down a bit, but it is a good start bro. Last pic I'd move kitty corner 2 degrees to the right and 1/2 a meter up to get the dodge emblem in without the street.

Lookin good man! You have an IS lens, try shooting in ISO 100. You'll have to hold the shutter open longer but I think you might be able to pull it off.
![]() What EV value are you shooting for?

If we can do it with the same lens non-IS you can most def do it with the IS version. Take a breath, hold it, release to calm yourself. Then repeat and shoot on the exhale..just like a gun.Last edited by AudibleSilence : 03-19-2008 at 06:31 PM. |

so since the iso100 will result in a darker picture set the shutter speed for longer time? but how do i do that again? hold the button and scroll the wheel? the bigger the number the darker? and the smaller the more light in the picture

Exposure Value. On the XTI it is controlled by the +/- button. http://www.chem.helsinki.fi/~toomas/photo/ev.html http://www.photoxels.com/tutorial_iso.html http://www.uscoles.com/fstop.htm The worst part of photography = the reading Honestly I futzed around with the damn camera for an afternoon and learned it. Then I read. I am more of a tactile learner than anything else, so tinkering is what did it for me.Edit: We totally forgot your Canonite Initiation We'll have to do it when Macky gets on.Last edited by AudibleSilence : 03-19-2008 at 06:30 PM. |
