Default Mountain run in the VR4 and time lapse photography!

Well i just got done filming this with my Canon SD1000. Its set to the 2 sec duration, so as to allow me to film the 2+ hours it took to make the trip over the Sierra Nevadas. I didnt have a nice mounting place in my car, so i zip tied my camera to my passenger headrest .

This was my first time attempting this, so let me know what you think.

I like it! How big was the file when you pulled it from the camera?

Nice! Next time you should move the camera so it points towards the road more, and instead of I-80 you should take 89 near lake tahoe

The camera shot at a lower resolution. He said the file was 112MB. I let my camera run for 1 minute @ 2 sec intervals and it was 1.87MB.

thanks for the compliments and the help. i realize that the camera is a little low, but i had an hour to figure out how to mount it and this was the best way. Ill do another in a month or so when i go back.

bezerk- you are welcome...now get back to "business" LOL!

lawdog, overtaker- yea i wanted to keep the file size relativly small, so that it wouldnt be such a bear to download. as it is it took youtube almost 3 hours to get it posted. im thinking of doing 1 sec intervals next time. 2 sec intervals at 100mph makes me feel like im watching Cloverfield on fast forward

That was pretty cool, I just kept watching the sky and how it moved relative to you.
