Thought I would post some of my wedding work here. This was a challenging wedding for me since the bride and groom were getting married at a restaurant...so I had to be especially mindful of the backgrounds. But all in all it ended up being one of my favorites.
Todd these are remarkable! The lighting and DOF are fucking awesome man! Camera and lens?
Thanks man! All shots are the 5D Mark II and the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8. Images 1-6 are bounce flash and the reception/formal pics are two off camera hot shoe flashes with shoot through umbrellas...or sometimes just bare flash.
I just picked up the tammy 28-75 f/2.8 and I am loving it! I was told that it is sick on full frame, I see it was true!
Yeah, it's a very nice lens...especially since the Canon equivalent is triple the price. It's served me well for two years now and is just started giving me issues. It's only disadvantage is low light focusing, sometimes it really hunts for focus even with the assist beam from the flash.

I'm finding the "hunting" problem to be annoying. It's very soft at low light... I'm a bit irritated about that honestly because I thought it was my camera at first I suppose I could go to manual focus, but in a crunch situation like a wedding one can not afford that. There is a guy selling a beat 24-70L on the canon forums for like $625 if you're interested.

Yeah, I replaced the Tamron with the 35L, it's ridiculously sharp above 1.8 and seems to do much better with focusing....unless it's really dark and you are trying to choose a particular outer focus point and then it's not as happy. I'm still getting used to foot zooming.
